Why it matters
An assistant answers from what it retrieves, and what it retrieves depends on the language of the question and where it is asked. A question in Mexican Spanish, from Mexico, brings back Mexican comparison articles, Mexican directories and Mexican press; the same intent in English from the US brings back a different set of pages and a different list of brands.
A brand that checks its visibility in English, or with one Spanish list for all of Latin America, is measuring a market its buyers are not in. A pooled number across countries can look healthy while one market reads zero.
The workflow
Treat each market as its own measurement
Mexico is not “Spanish”. Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru and US Hispanic each ask differently and cite different sources; the US in English is a market of its own too; Brazil asks in Portuguese and Indonesia in Indonesian. Pick the markets where you sell and measure each one on its own.
Write the questions natively for each market
Keep the intent and change the question: the local currency, the local tax authority, the payment method everyone uses, the words people actually use for your category. Do not translate a list from another market; write it as a buyer there would.
Ask from inside the market
Where a surface lets you set a location, set the city or region your buyers are in and record what was sent with every answer. The same question asked from São Paulo and from Miami returns different sources.
Read the results per market, never pooled
Compare mentioned and recommended rates market by market, and note the largest gap in each one. An average across countries hides exactly the market you need to fix.
Fix per market, in the market’s language
A local page with local facts, listed in local directories and covered by local press, is what the assistant finds when it searches from that country. A Spanish translation of an English page rarely answers the question a buyer in Mexico asked.
Track the markets in VozRadar
The Markets page measures each market separately with natively written prompts, shows the same intent as asked in each market, and lets you add or pause markets as you expand.
Run it in VozRadar
Markets
- Every market is measured separately with natively written prompts; nothing is pooled across countries
- Per-market cards: mentioned, recommended, average demand proxy and the largest opportunity
- “Questions across markets” shows the same intent, phrased per market, side by side
- A city or region per market; surfaces with location control send it, and each answer records what was sent
In the app: Project → Markets. Add or pause additional markets; opportunities, experiments, alerts and reports use the primary market. Available markets: Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Brazil, US Hispanic, US English and Indonesia.
